As you will all be familiar by now it's nearing that time again where we try and do our bit to bring awareness and remind ourselves of those less fortunate than us. Our focus this year is on Najaf, a deeply Shiite city that was neglected for so long under the Ba'athist policies which is now trying to revitalize itself in what can still be seen as very challenging conditions. Heavy fighting between different Shiite factions and the US military has brought further ruin to Najaf. However, under the orders of widely respected senior Shiite clergy members, a fragile peace has largely been held since 2008. Through the Najaf campaign www.najafcampaign.com We aim to raise money to assist them in their various projects in Najaf aimed at providing nourishment and rebuilding lives through activities such as orphanages, medical and child sponsorship schemes.  

With all this in mind, we would like to announce that this seasons charity cup will take place on SUNDAY 21st FEBRUARY, kick-off at 2pm. As per usual we will be accepting all donations including sponsorship of a minimum of £1 per goal for any teams. There will be a £5 requested donation fee per player so please ensure this is brought on the day.
