KASSAM…..ALI’ – LEFT WITH NOWHERE TO TURN!!

‘Kassam…..ali’ – left with nowhere to turn!!!  

It started with Akilo ‘the African Gangstar’, it embroiled the Gurkhas and now the latest victim of England’s tough policy on immigration has caught up with Hassanali Kassam…..Ali!  

His short but eventful stay at East Africa House has come to an abrupt end after receiving a letter from Her Majesty the Queen. However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel. A loop hole in the system means the man fondly know as ‘Tigo’ will be able to take refuge in Aberdeen, Scotland.  

Naturally Hassanali did not want to discuss his case in detail. However he did make this brief statement:  

‘On receipt of the envelope with the Queens Crest on it I got excited thinking I was being invited to Dinner or to receive an award for my work as an engineer with British Petroleum. As I started to read the letter and it became clear it was a deportation order I was shocked and disappointed that my months of work on the Oil Rig in the North Sea counted for nothing’.  

Tigo is currently appealing this decision, however should his appeal fail he will leave for Scotland at the end of May.
