STANMORE JAFFERY’S AGM REPORTS – PRESENTED ON 13 JUNE 2008SJ Chairman Report:
Dear Members,
I would like to thank all of you who could make it for the AGM tonight. It has been a fantastic and amazing 2 years which sadly comes to an end. Without your support and the efforts of my committee, we would have never achieved what we have in these 2 years. You will find the reports from various spheres of SJ in this pack, but I would like to personally highlight some of the major achievements of our team:
1) Kids football which is being organised by Zahid Ebrahim and his team of over 10 coaches including Munir Eljouhari (assistant coach). It started off with a handful of boys attending regularly, but now we have attendances in the region of up to 70 per week which is truly amazing and reflects on the quality of training being provided by the team. I thank them for giving up their Saturday evenings to be with the children and I pray to Allah to give this team strength to carry on their efforts.
